The BERD@NFDI consortium comes together every year for its 𝗔𝗹𝗹-𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, which serve as a vital platform for reconnecting, sharing updates, and brainstorming ideas to advance our mission. One such gathering took place at the Fritz Thyssen Stiftung in Cologne, a superb host providing the perfect setting for collaboration and reflection.

The meeting began, coffee in hand, with a warm welcome, transitioned into lively discussions about ongoing projects, and culminated in envisioning the next steps for the consortium. We concluded the day at a charming, festively decorated restaurant, celebrating milestones over delicious food and glasses of Kölsch. The next day, our PhD students showcased their projects, offering a refreshing glimpse into work beyond the BERD umbrella.
