Reinforcement Learning for Business, Economics, and Social Sciences (2025)

🗓️ Starting June 17, 2025 (4:30 pm-5:30 pm)
📍 Online Course

Overview:
How do machines learn to make the right choices? How can individuals, firms, organizations, and researchers benefit from automated decision-making?

This free online course introduces the fundamentals of Reinforcement Learning (RL), a framework for decision-making based on partial, delayed, or implicit feedback. RL is increasingly relevant in business, economics, and the social sciences for applications such as adaptive experiments, sequential decision-making, and personalized recommendations.

Over four weeks, you will explore core concepts such as multi-armed bandits, Markov decision processes, dynamic programming, and temporal-difference learning – supported by video content, real-world applications, and interactive online sessions.

Application deadline: May 12, 2025
