Knowledge Graph Infrastructure

Access Knowledge Graphs, Ontologies, and Semantic Enrichment Tools for Business, Economics, and Related Fields.

Show knowledge graphs

Knowledge Graph Infrastructure (KGI) offers high-quality data, ontologies, and models for business, economics, and related fields. Whether you are conducting research, enhancing data analysis, or developing applications, KGI provides APIs, SPARQL endpoints, models, and tools designed to accelerate your research.

Key Benefits

AI-Ready Knowledge Graphs

KGI offers AI-ready knowledge graphs that integrate diverse datasets across time periods and sources. These knowledge graphs provide APIs and SPARQL-endpoints, enabling researchers to automate data analysis, uncover hidden relationships, and draw deeper insights.

Standardized Terminologies

KGI incorporates standardized ontologies and terminologies, ensuring consistent and accurate representation of concepts across datasets. This harmonization allows researchers to compare, link, and interpret data with greater precision in business, economics, and related fields.

Advanced Semantic Enrichment

KGI provides powerful semantic enrichment tools for entity recognition, linking, and classification. These tools enrich datasets by connecting them to various knowledge graphs, streamlining research workflows, and enabling comprehensive data-driven insights.

Ontologies and Terminologies

  • STW Thesaurus for Economics provides vocabulary on any economic subject: almost 6,000 standardized subject headings and about 20,000 additional entry terms to support individual keywords.
  • TheSoz Thesaurus for the Social Sciences contains about 12,000 entries, of which more than 8,000 are descriptors (authorised keywords) and about 4,000 non-descriptors.
  • BERD Terminology Service provides a single point of access to terminologies and ontologies from Business, Economics and Related fields.

Semantic Enrichment

  • Reichsanzeiger-NLP is a NER/NEL corpus based on the German historical newspaper “Deutscher Reichsanzeiger und Preußischer Staatsanzeiger” (1819–1939).
  • bbw is a tool for entity linking, entity typing, and relation extraction on tabular data using Wikibase knowledge graphs (e.g., Wikidata or Aktienführer, WL, MBI, and HbAG).
  • KG-enricher is a Python library for enriching strings, entities, and knowledge graphs using Wikibase knowledge graphs (e.g., Wikidata or Aktienführer, WL, MBI, and HbAG).
  • blatt is an NLP-helper for OCR-ed pages in PAGE XML format, used to structure the unstructured OCR-ed books.
