We are excited to announce the Workshop on Novel Financial Data for Research: Access and Applications.
Real-time, high-frequency financial data – such as credit card transactions and digital payments – offer new insights into spending behavior, regional trends, and macroeconomic developments. They also enable real-time indicators valuable to policymakers.
This workshop showcases research using novel financial data to explore previously inaccessible questions. It aims to foster exchange between researchers and data providers and raise awareness of the data’s scope and potential.
Call for Contributions:
We welcome empirical studies, methodological work, and applications that highlight the value of transaction data – espacially encourage submissions from early-career researchers, including PhD students and practitioners.
Submit your short proposal by August 15, 2025
