Overview
This one-day workshop in Munich dedicated to the theme of data quality in unstructured data will bring together experts from diverse fields to share insights, experiences, and strategies for navigating the challenges and opportunities that arise when working with unstructured data. The program will also address the need for quality metrics in the development of AI and official statistics across business, economics, and related areas.

Format
Our program is designed to foster deep engagement: each invited speaker session includes an extended presentation (around one hour) followed by an interactive Q&A.

- Data Handling Matters: Collecting Datasets and Documenting their Usage – Jan Simson (LMU Munich)

- Making Sense of Sensing: Structuring Behavioral Data from Smartphones – Ramona Schรถdel (Charlotte Fresenius University of Psychology)

In addition to exciting talks and a panel discussion, we are pleased to announce that we have had a successful call for posters. We invited researchers and practitioners at all career stages to present their work related to unstructured data and data quality.
Posters will be displayed throughout the day to encourage informal discussion and knowledge sharing and a poster session is scheduled during the lunch break. Please note that the Call for Posters is now closed.
