We at BERD@NFDI are glad to announce our new collaboration with TRR 266 Accounting for Transparency, a trans-regional Collaborative Research Center funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
TRR 266 delves into the impact of accounting and taxation on firm and regulatory transparency, as well as the broader effects of transparency and regulation on society and the economy. Its mission is to shape effective regulations for corporate transparency and a fair tax system while maintaining transparency in its own research practices.
We are also excited to highlight the German Business Panel (GBP), a key initiative developed within TRR 266. The GBP provides unique insights into the expectations, plans, and preferences of firm decision-makers, offering daily, granular, and industry-specific data. These datasets are now featured on our website’s “Featured Datasets” page – click here to check them out.
As part of this collaboration, we are excited to announce that Davud Rostam-Afschar will hold a flipped-classroom course for the BERD Academy this summer.
Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities from this partnership!
